When you make an enquiry we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, job address, postcode, preferred contact method, details of the work and any files you choose to attach.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, assess and quote for work, arrange appointments, deliver electrical services, maintain business records and meet legal or regulatory obligations. Our lawful bases may include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business.
Where it is kept and who receives it
Enquiries are held in our secure website enquiry system and transferred into the Mills Electrical business-management system. If you use postcode lookup, the postcode is sent to Ideal Postcodes to return matching addresses. Information may also be processed by service providers that support our hosting, email, accounting or IT systems. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not proceed are normally retained for up to 24 months. Records connected with quotes, jobs, payments, certificates or legal obligations may be kept for longer where reasonably required.
Your rights

If customer portal access is enabled for you, we process your approved email address, one-time sign-in codes, messages and the job, quote, invoice and document information that Mills Electrical chooses to publish to your account. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes.
